Sean Conner has served as the Associate Director of Operations of the USC Wrigley Marine Science Center on Catalina Island since 2007. After relocating from coastal North Carolina, where he directed dining and catering operations for the Duke University Marine Laboratory, Sean has used his passion for history, science, relationship-building and sustainable living strategies to share the story of the Wrigley family’s heritage of the natural preservation of Santa Catalina. While embracing this legacy, which inspires our science-driven understanding of the natural world, Sean also works to ensure that our operations are respectful of the island’s history. He especially loves engaging students and guests in the life and growth of the Wrigley Institute.

Sean and his wife Jill make their home in the community of Two Harbors, where they enjoy entertaining guests, running and hiking Catalina’s amazing trails, sharing the island’s intense beauty with friends and family, and working with visiting students, researchers and vacationers to make this world a better place.
