Creating Change for the Good of Our Planet
Our mission: To inspire global environmental solutions through frontier education and research.
Founded in 1995 and based on USC’s Los Angeles campus and Catalina Island, the Wrigley Institute for Environment and Sustainability educates students, conducts public-facing and policy-facing outreach, and produces solutions-focused research at the intersection of people and the planet.
Areas of Focus
Unfolding on land and at sea, Wrigley Institute research spans all disciplines to find holistic solutions to our world’s most pressing environmental problems.
We’re training the next generation of environmental changemakers through learning opportunities in Los Angeles, on Catalina Island, and beyond.
Signature events spark meaningful, nonpartisan change to save our planet.
Who We Are
At the Wrigley Institute, we’re as much about people as we are about the planet. Our dedicated staff and world-class faculty affiliates are leading the way to a more sustainable and equitable tomorrow.
