Research from the Gibson Climate Justice Lab, led by Wrigley Institute core faculty member and Associate Professor (Teaching) of Environmental Studies Shannon Gibson, centers on global and regional climate conferences. This June, international relations major TJ Martynowicz and global studies and earth sciences double major Christina Chkarboujl followed the developments of SB58, the 58th session meetings of the Subsidiary Body for Scientific and Technological Advice (SBSTA) and the Subsidiary Body for Implementation (SBI). In a blog post linked below, they shared observations and key takeaways from the climate negotiations.
