"Saving Giraffes: The Long Journey Home"

Join us for a special Trojan Family Weekend screening of “Saving Giraffes: The Long Journey Home,” a film by Environmental Studies alumnus Tyler Schiffman ’17. Produced by National Geographic, this 50-minute documentary tells the incredible story of an attempt to save 8 endangered Rothschild’s giraffes from a sinking island in northern Kenya. The screening will be followed by a Q&A with Tyler and Save Giraffes Now CCO David O’Connor. Boxed dinners and beverages will be provided. This event is free, but registration is strongly recommended.
